Wild Onion is a perennial, grass-like weed with long, green leaves that grow 10 to 15 inches tall and have an oniony aroma when crushed. It is a troublesome weed, especially in lawns, often sprouting in fall in mild winter areas. Small green to purple flowers bloom in clusters atop slender stems from spring into summer.
